June 13th 2009 Coptank Blue Blade won the PBGA 13 " derby championship at Rayburn beagle club Blade was also the Grand Final winner of the trial . I would like to thank my father inlaw Jim for helping me handle Blade at trials where I had to judge and giving me advice through the season. Also my buddy Raymond for running Blade for me in the first part of the derby season before the time changed . And most of importantlyDonald Dobbs the breeder of Blade for conditioning Blade for me the week before the trial ! Alot of running time went into this little dog to achive this it's now time for a small break for me and him .                                                         Brandon

Jim and I are currenly building a starting pen that is almost complete for our personal use. We may start a select number of puppies for the public in the future but our hands are currently full with up and coming rabbit hunting machines.  We currently have 11 pups to start so check the site periodically as we may have a few started young hounds for sale in late spring/early summer. We are now enjoying a great rabbit season so far and are looking forward to the 2009 AKC Trial season. Good luck to evryone !!!

This is Choptank Blue Blade's 2nd 1st place win at this years 2009 derby trials .

DeHaven's Choptank Linda was entered in her first licensed trial at York & Adams 5/3/09 she recived a 4 th out of 29 starters . I was not able to stay for the entire trial so I would like to thank Raymond for handling her for me .
